Welcome to my website. My name is Sam Hewitt, and I provide therapeutic counselling in Swindon and online. If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, or any other trauma-related issue, I give you a non-judgemental, safe, strictly confidential space where you can share your experiences and feel heard and understood at all times. My role is to foster a nurturing therapeutic relationship grounded in warmth and kindness and come up with a way of working that is personalised to your needs.
I am registered with the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and commit to their professional standards, good practice guidance, and Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. If you are interested to know more about counselling in Swindon or online, feel free to give me a call at any time and I’ll be happy to answer any questions you might have.
As an integrative therapist, I draw on a range of counselling techniques to provide a form of support tailored to your individual needs and personal circumstances. I take a keen interest and have extensive training in the connection between trauma and the body – how we hold onto experiences and how to let your body discharge this past trauma.

Head over to my Areas I Help With page for a more detailed breakdown on the way I help with certain issues, such as depression, anxiety, and other trauma-related issues.
Get in touch with me by phone or email, and we will have a quick call to arrange a session at a time that suits you. We won’t go into too much detail if you don’t want to. This is a chance for you to understand a bit more about how I work and discuss what you wish to get out of counselling. Initially we will pencil in six sessions if you are keen to proceed, but I am happy to work on a more open-ended basis if that suits you better.
Sessions are priced at £60 per 50 minutes.
I am here to listen, understand your situation, and provide the exact help you need. To learn a bit more about how I work as a counsellor in Swindon and online, please visit my About Counselling page.
My practice is on the ground floor of an old Grade II-listed building, with my room sitting right next to the front door. You won’t need to wander through the building; I will meet you at reception on your first visit and direct you to my warm, private, cosy counselling room – a place where you can feel truly comfortable and voice your emotions in a way that suits you.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about how counselling works, or to arrange an initial assessment appointment. This enables us to discuss the reasons you are thinking of coming to counselling, whether it could be helpful for you and whether I am the right therapist to help.
You can also call me on 07521778424 if you would prefer to leave a message or speak to me first. I am happy to discuss any queries or questions you may have prior to arranging an initial appointment.
All enquires are usually answered within 24 hours, and all contact is strictly confidential and uses secure phone and email services.
